Beats 4 Eats was born in the middle of this summer, 2011. Adrien and I were offered to rent out a vacant lot in Williamsburg, just a few blocks away from our restaurant, Le Comptoir. When we went to look at it, we decided instantly that we should have a big party there — no, a few big parties!

We were able to quickly obtain permits to host events and began making plans and phone calls. At the end of it all, we have put together 4 events this fall.

We all are very much aware of the catastrophic situation in Somalia and most of us conveniently ignore it. We knew the events we envisioned gave us the opportunity to make an effort in the right direction, so we decided to work in tandem with ACF international to DONATE a portion of the profits to help end hunger in Somalia.

So far we have booked most of the entertainment in electronic music but we are waiting for few answers to come up with the final line-up for all the events.
